Information
A MUD is an online world where players can meet and play an adventure game (often text-only). This page is about the server for such a game, called (not-very-imaginatively) "MUDserver".

Stuff you can do
You can:
- move around (north, south, west, east, inside, outside).
- list online users ("users")
- send a text message to a user (e.g. "message bob Hello Bob!")
- examine various objects, including other players
Implemented features
- Map Markup Language (makes creating and editing new maps very easy)
- Users can create new accounts
- User accounts are persistent (saved on server shutdown)
- Text messages can be sent between users
- Partially detects telnet terminal type (no configuration required)
- Built-in login delays to discourage brute-force password attacks
- Server event logging

- Basic scenery objects
- Objects (dynamic command interfaces, full manipulation of game state)
